WOLVES
There is a wolf who has been visiting me in my dreams lately. He comes alone and remains silent. Decayed and rotten leaves cling to his feet as he gently gallops. He never looks back, except to ensure that I follow. In these moments, I feel the soothing touch of autumn mists on my skin, the sharp cold air, and the smell of rotting grass in my lungs. The air shimmers and vibrates with violet and golden lights, carrying nothing more than the whispers of grass and trees, and the light footsteps – mine, and those of the wolf.
